ABOUT US

Since 1969 the Miss Rural Winnebago (MRW) program has provided many young ladies with once-in-a-lifetime leadership opportunities. The reigning Miss can customize her year to fit her interests, where she will develop personal and interpersonal skills to use even after she passes the crown on.

 

The MRW program is supported by the Waukau Youth Group which operates out of the Waukau Youth Center in Waukau, WI. Each year they host multiple, family-friendly events.

Past program coordinators have included former MRW's Kim Philips and Taylor Hunt. The current program coordinator, Jodie Weyland, is also a former MRW.

In June 2024 the MRW program will be crowning the 56th Miss Rural Winnebago. Please join us in Waukau, Wisconsin for the Youth Days Chicken BBQ to join the celebration! All former Misses are welcome to attend.
