Kylie Kempen

Residing in Oshkosh, Kylie attends Neenah High School. She is passionate about environmental sciences and hopes to study agricultural and environmental studies in the future. Kylie enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and camping with family and friends. She has been involved in Varsity Track, Varsity Cheer, and the Red Cross club. Miss Kempen also participated in a project-based learning program called Fusion, which has expanded her creativity and critical thinking. She has accumulated over 100 service hours through volunteer opportunities such as visiting nursing homes and cleaning up parks.

Kylie believes that the younger generations will have the most impact on our future. She says that it is important to educate ourselves about our surroundings so that we can make a difference. Kylie enjoys the simple pleasures of taking walks outside, visiting apple orchards in the fall, and planting her own fruits and vegetables. Being able to enjoy Winnebago County and its land means it’s vital to treat it right. That way, we may continue to enjoy our beautiful surroundings that bring comfort, joy, and fond memories to our lives. Kylie says that it is important for not only her, but for others to learn about our surroundings so that we all can support our local communities.
